Charities and Not-for-profit can benefit from DTP skills. It is my way to believe anyone can make a difference for a better world.
Free Desktop Publishing for Not for Profit
You are a Not for Profit organisation or a Charity and you need some professional work done, such as create a new logo, refurbish an existing logo, create a brochure, something that will be downloaded from your site, or sent to a professional printer (I only handle minor webdesign work).
This is expensive and the work of professional designers, which you may not have the funds to pay.
Check my main website

where most of my portfolio is now displayed (this blog is no longer updated as of 12/2010)

A nice example of CMY + 3 printing
One of my favourite bread has a nice packaging with three very important colours for the manufacturer: dark blue, dark green and light green. As these colours are essential for the customer to recognise the product on the shelf, they decided to get rid of black altogether.
On the colour control points, Cyan, Yellow and Magenta are associated with three spot colours. As a result the sandwich picture on the other side is fairly poor quality, there is no black to smoothen the colours.
The image is represented using the theoretical "three colours is enough" which in practice cannot reach very far in the gamut.
There will be more things about gamuts in a future post... about animal vision and colour cones.
By the way this bread is delicious.
